Friday, April 15: Buddy Guy

Pantages Theater

By Volcano Staff on April 14, 2011

What will you be doing when you're 74 years old? If you're anything like the Weekly Volcano the answer involves copious amounts of Scotch and being dead. Blues legend Buddy Guy, on the other hand, is still cranking out the music at 74 - he recently released a new record, Living Proof. According to hype, the record "takes a look back at (Guy's) remarkable life." Living proof. Get it? Friday, Guy comes to Tacoma and the Pantages Theater. Predictably, it's sold out.

[Pantages Theater, with Little Bill and the Blue Notes, 7:30 p.m., $45-$75, 901 Broadway, Tacoma, 253.591.5890]
