Saturday, Nov. 12: "Mozart & Salieri"

Rialto Theater

By Volcano Staff on November 9, 2011

It's a debate we've all had over beers with our buddies - Mozart or Salieri? Who's better? Wait ... you've never had that debate? Well, you're missing out. Hear for yourself Saturday night at the Rialto Theater when the Northwest Sinfonietta presents "Mozart & Salieri," a side-by-side comparison of sorts drawing form the work of both composers. Still not intrigued? Wait until you check the smack-down style billing the Northwest Sinfonietta gives the concert on the Broadway Center website: "In spite of the alluring and tenacious myth, Salieri did not contribute to Mozart's early passing. The two composers did, however, fiercely compete for Vienna's best jobs. Hearing these works side-by-side may finally convince you that who you know can be more important than what you know!" Boom! Say what!?!
