The United States Army Special Forces Scholarship Fund is accepting applications for its 2012.Scholarship awards program. Sons and daughters of active and retired 1st SFG 18-Series Soldiers and non-18-Series Soldiers who have served in 1st SFG for at least five years are eligible. Scholarship applications will be accepted until March 15.
The Special Forces Scholarship Fund is a nonprofit, tax-exempt organization that awards merit-based post secondary educational scholarships to the daughters and sons of current and veteran Special Forces Soldiers.
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a daughter or son of a current or veteran U.S. Army Special Forces Soldier and by Oct. 15 be under 26 years for undergraduate scholarships or under 28 years for graduate scholarships.
- Be a high school senior, graduate, or be registered as a full-time undergraduate student at an accredited college or post secondary vocational/technical institute.
- For graduate school applicants, be enrolled as a college senior or have obtained a bachelors degree from an accredited college/university and have applied and/or been accepted to an accredited graduate school program.
