FANCHISE OPENS

Native New Yorker restaurant, an New York Buffalo wings restaurant and sports bar franchise, has opened at 4441 Pacific Ave. SE in Lacey. Wings are a focus, but sandwiches, burgers, pizza and pastas also grace the menu.

WINEMAKER DINNER

Romina Togn of Torre di Luna, Lechthaler and Maso Poli wineries from Trentino in Northern Italy will pair wines with a traditional Trentino dinner at Morse Wine Bar at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 16. The cost is $59. Reserve your spot at 253.530.3463.

POTLUCK SHABBAT DINNER

Kitzel's Delicatessen (514 S. Capital Way, Olympia) will host a potluck Shabbat dinner at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 16. Since the deli isn't open yet, the deli asks you to bring a dish to share. Juice, cups, silverware and plates are also welcomed.

HALIBUT AND WINE PAIRING

Chef Howie at Pour at Four (3814 N. 26th St., Tacoma) will prepare halibut three different ways, each paired with a wine from 5:30-9:30 p.m. Sept. 16-17. The cost is $30. No reservations are needed.

FOOD FIGHT

Chef Gabe at Salty's at Redondo (28201 Redondo Beach Dr. S., Des Moines) hosts a "Food Fight" happy hour from 3-4 p.m. every Monday in September. If you answer one of two food trivia questions correct, you'll receive the specials $19 tasting menu for free. Reservations are required at 253.945.8248 today. 

COOKING CLASS

Primo Grill (601 S. Pine, Tacoma) hosts a Cuisine of Tuscany cooking class at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24. The cost is $65. Reserve your spot at 253.383.7000.

COCKTAIL CLASS

Salty's at Redondo (28201 Redondo Beach Dr. S., Des Moines) will host an afternoon cocktail class at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24. The class is $25 per person, which includes recipe cards, demonstration on bar techniques, as well as the cocktails to sip along with appetizers for noshing. COOKING CLASS

Chef Laurie Nguyen from Dockside Bistro in Olympia will demonstrate how to cook a fall evening menu with Asian accents at 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 26 at the Bayview School of Cooking in Olympia. The cost is $60. Reserve your spot at 360.754.1448.

ENDLESS SUSHI ROLL
