Perry Acker is named like a single dude, but it's actually a band ... a band with the cajones to offer of itself on its website, "compared as a modern day Beatles group by live fans for their clean image and range of musical expression." In fairness to the band, however, "compared as" doesn't actually mean much. More importantly, Perry Acker is so fucking good they just won a Ford (as part of the Ford "Gimme The Gig" contest). Put that in your pipe and smoke it.
